I photographed the student vendor show where our entrepreneurial students can create and sell their own products to the school and community.
Here I utilized more up close angles and moments where I could capture the energy of the room in the different rules of thirds.

I took shots at the career fair where individuals from many different career paths came to our school and made presentations for the students about what their Jobs entail. For this event I made sure to get more face and action shots to show the students joy and interest.
When I took photos at last years graduation I decided to station myself right where they would walk out to get their most authentic reactions. To make sure the photos came out their best, I got there an hour early to set my lighting.

Winter Collage during this performance I was unable to check the camera out of yearbook, so all these photos had to be taken with my iPhone. I did the best I could and While the lighting wasn't always the best there were things I could control better. Such as making sure to get every performers face in the frame.
2022-2023
When shooting graduation with our programs camera it was the first time I had to toggle multiple settings at once due to the darkness of the theater. This was the year that taught me it was important for me to get their early and set camera lighting.

Students organized a schoolwide walkout to protest gun violence my sophomore. I went out to cover the event in the pouring rain. The conditions made it difficult to photograph as some of the photos looked grainy from the rain. I also was terrified of ruining the camera. In the end the conditions amplified the photos by capturing the students dedication.
Sophomore year was really when my photography took off. My first big assignment of that year was taking photos of the varsity cheerleaders at a football game. Reflecting bag I have really developed more dedication to the surroundings of the photos.

The first time I took photos at graduation I primarily got outside after the event because it was very dark in the theater, I didn't know a lot about my camera settings, and I was really not effective inside. I still wanted to provide excellent coverage of the even so I hung around outside at that time I really discovered the value of capturing the emotions of graduates with their family.
